Tickle Your Pickle!
Staying at home the last few days, has given me time to cook quite a few meals for later use and to pickle some boiled eggs! They are sweet, sour and salty plus a delicious, healthy snack and will keep for quite a while.
I remember the huge jars of boiled eggs that sat on the counter top of gas stations or country stores back in the day. I put a dozen eggs into each half gallon jar and added a couple of jalapeño slices to each jar for a little kick!
This is my first time doing this and am pleased with the results. Egg peeling tip: Boil eggs in salty water, pour water out and cover them completely with ice cubes. Add cold water to quickly cool them down. Easy to peel!
