As many of our followers probably know, we do a lot of reporting on various local events that happen each week. Our Highlands Ranch property management blog is mostly events happening in the various neighborhoods we work in. Now with social life on shutdown, events canceled and gatherings of more than 10 people causing raised eyebrows for anyone still having them, there is not much to report. Calendars are bare and the events that are lucky to get postponed have no makeup date in sight. Concerts are canceled or postponed, Red Rocks won’t re-open until mid-May, movie theaters are closed indefinitely, and most restaurants are offering takeaway but otherwise having no seating inside the building. For the foreseeable future we won’t have any events to blog about. We are hoping that when the dust settles, and we come out on the other side of this pandemic that we can continue to blog about all the events that come back. We feel that people will really want to embrace these social outings once they return, since everyone is working from home and not going anywhere at night or on the weekends. AS always, we’re thankful that you can still go outside and go on a walk. If that was taken away from our city while everyone gets stir crazy locked inside with their families, that would not help out people’s general moods and wellbeing. So, we recommend that you still go out and get some fresh air on a walk around your neighborhood. Do continue to keep your distance from other people you see on the trails and sidewalks. There are definitely more people out as well. We must do what we can right now so that when bars and restaurants re open we can all line up and support them for the months to come.
