A girl and her pup, Casey, living the lifestyle of the Back 40.
My pup Casey is a rescue pup he is about a year old. What breed is he one might ask, it appears as if he is a Husky and maybe a Malamute mix.
What a joy he has been to me as we met on February 20th, 2020.
His spirit is peaceful and full of joy, he is such a special pup to me.
Living the back 40 lifestyle is something that he really enjoys as we go for a walk in the woods.
It really is very interesting to watch how he reacts to the other animals that are in the field around him. Most pups would bark when they see the cows as they graze. But not Casey, he is quite and just sniffs the air and ground around him.
His ears perk up and his tail wags but not a peep out of him. Does he bark, hmm not much, it is very rare that he barks but he has done it here and there. 
We are not always out in the back 40 as he comes to the office with me and keeps me company.
He sits at my feet most of the day until it is time to go for a walk.
We head out at least three times a day, he is a great conversation starter, as we walk down Center Street here in Whitesboro TX.
In the evening the neighbors sit on the porch and say hello and ask what breed of the pup he is. They mention how beautiful he is.
I must agree he is beautiful at least to me he is.

Having a place to walk out in the back 40 has made my life even better. 
The quite noise is beautiful, the birds are singing, the rabbits are hopping around. There is a creek that runs through our property and the water flows down and over the rocks. What a peaceful sound this is. As we stroll across the leaves and through the woods.
One can easily forget about just about everything else that is going on in life. The cool breeze gently blows the trees slightly move back and forth. Truly a blessing indeed.
