Distress Property Stats February 2020

In March of 2020, Realtytrac.com reported nationwide there were 373,962 distress properties in February of 2020 declined 2.0% from January of 2020, and fell 12.0% from February of 2019. While, pre-foreclosures were 37.1%, auctions were 41.1%, and REOs were 21.8%; one in every 2,820 properties homes were in foreclosure, and State of New Jersey had the highest rate with one in every 1,453 homes in foreclosure during February of 2020.

Pre-foreclosures up 4.1% in the February of 2020, from January of 2020, but lower 7.1% from February of 2019.
Auctions decreased 8.8% in February of 2020, from January of 2020, and dropped 18.5% from February of 2019.
REOs increased 1.0% in February of 2020, from January of 2020, but down 8.1% from February of 2019.
