Gaithersburg Bulk Pick Up and Loose Leaf Collection Cancelled
Reminder! With limited public works crews focusing on essential tasks, bulk pick up & loose leaf collection are suspended.
While we know many of you are using this time to spring clean, please do not put bulk items out and do NOT rake leaves to the curb. You can still bag your leaves for pick up on your regular recycling day. 🍂♻️
Our compost drop off site is also closed until further notice. Thank you for your patience!
This is a City of Gaithersburg, Maryland announcement.
In Kentlands, the regular date for the bulk pick up is on the first Thursday of each month. The regular recycling day is Thursday.

Subhash Sharma The name of these lovely Crocus or Krokusis of Greek origin (Greek: Κρόκος) is based on a mortal youth who, because he were unhappy with his love affair with Smilax, was turned by the gods into a plant bearing his name, the crocus. The first crocus seen in the Netherlands, where crocus species are not native, were from corms brought back in the 1560s from Constantinople by the Holy Roman Emperor's ambassador to the Sublime Porte, Ogier Ghiselin de Busbecq.
