Landscaping Plants That Boost Curb Appeal While "Sheltering In Place"

Landscaping Plants That Boost Your Home's Curb Appeal

Many of us have been sheltering in place for at least a week and will continue to do so for probably another month. Whether or not you're planning to sell your home this spring/summer, why not boost your curb appeal while you're "stuck" sheltering at home during the COVID-19 crisis? It'll be a great way to get outside and get some exercise while keeping safe. You'll feel better and your home will definitely look better. And if you are planning to sell once the spread of the virus is mitigated, you'll already have your curb appeal looking great and one thing less to do to get your home ready for market once the crisis is over.

Our development only allows residents to plant annuals, and I have a couple of pots on my patio that I can plant up as well.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 hi Nick... we have some communities, as well, that are quite restrictive when it comes to planting. But the majority of them pretty much let people do what they want when it comes to plants.

Nina the first impression of a house is very important, and having beautiful plants and flowers goes a long way in making sure the first impression is a positive one.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... I love all that, myself. I just don't love making it happen! With the shelter in place orders in NC until April 29th, it was interesting for me to see just how many more of my neighbors were out there these past few days sprucing up their yards instead of relying on their landscape companies. Can't say I did anything, but I did have some nice chats over the fences with neighbors!

George Souto hi George... home sellers often don't realize how important that first impression of a home is to buyers... and that includes landscaping, condition of a home's exterior, outdoor lighting, etc.

I have been keeping busy while not prospecting and writing hand written notes on projects; I have been putting off for years. Plants are starting to bud and now
could use attention. Thank you for adding to my list 🤓

Hi Nina:

That's a great idea and there are multiple benefits - for the house, your mood and health, and your neighbors! While we have flowers year-round those in the spring are some of my favorites!

That's a terrific graphic!

Jeff Dowler, CRS good morning, Jeff, and thanks. For me personally, digging around in dirt does nothing for my mood. I hate it. :) But I do like to see the results after someone has done it for me.
