Los Angeles, CA 90027 Single Family Residences: Market Snapshot
Often, I get asked: Endre how is the Market? This I find interesting, because then in turn I come back with many questions, such as: are you interested in the National Figures? Are you Interested in the certain part of the Greater Los Angeles area? Are you asking about Single-Family Residences? Or are you interested in the Income Property or the Condominium Market? I could go on and on, not wanting to bore you, let me just get to the point.
One of the conversations that I just had was focused on the Single-Family Residences in the 90027-zip code of Los Angeles. Hence, I thought I would share with you. Since I seldom write Market Reports.
As of today: Wed Apr 01, 2020 the median list price for Los Angeles, CA 90027 is $2,499,999.00 with the market action index hovering around 39. This is an increase over last month's market action index of 37. Basically, what this means is we are still in a seller’s market, despite all the concerns you hear about the Corona Virus.
Buyers are still emailing, calling and looking on the Internet. Showings are a bit more challenging, with Realtors requesting all parties to sign disclosures for visiting properties. Hence with that said, the prices have remained at their elevated levels. Should the Market Action Index migrate into a Buyer’s Market, then we can expect a downward pressure on prices until then prices are still strong, even though the market has cooled a bit.
