Oh dear... will Spring EVER come?

04/05/2020 Minot NDEven though this is not an unusual scene in North Dakota on this date it's always disappointing.

Typically we have a string of nice weather to get us all in the mood for an early summer and then... BAM! Reality hits and we are reminded that we are North Dakotians.

My new fire pitThis picture of my new fire pit was taken a week ago today when I could construct it right on that very deck behind it with no jacket, no hat, and no gloves. I believe it was about 30 degrees warmer out a week ago today.

Spring, just like Christ was, will be resurected again. Hopefully sooner than later.

For sure Ron and Alexandra Seigel . The kindness is definitely flowing. We did enjoy church today via YouTube. Our pastor does a wonderful job of putting the sermon together along with music and words up on the screen. He is very skilled at it and it's almost as good as being there.

I can relate to that Kat Palmiotti . I was in the back yard today playing with that new fire pit and there was quite a bit of yard I had to avoid.

We got six inches of snow on Thursday (I think. You know how the days are running together.) Then today it was almost 70° and we were able to get out for a walk. It has been a LONG winter. In keeping with everything else, right? Hope you're staying healthy.

Yesterday we had a nice day.  temps were in the mid to upper 50's and by Wednesday around 80º.  Stay warm and safe.

Good morning, Bob... with everything that's going on at least I can "luxuriate" in warm and sunny weather here in Charlotte. It will be summerlike this week, I've heard... and that's also good news because viruses don't live well in hot weather.

Michael Jacobs we have had the whole mixed bag of weather here over the last week to include snow, rain, sleet and a little sunshine. Just in the last week we have had temps range from below zero to the low 60's. This is North Dakota
