Music can lift your heart and soul

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty ONE Group Advocates 484-237-2055 PA License - AB067198

I have always found music to be able to lift my heart, spirits and soul. Music can change your mood and I came across this piece today, I always remember how thus was used by a pair of English ice skaters in competition. Enjoy. It is a French orchestera so please practice your French listening skills as they introduce themselves.

Another person I follow is this cellist, part of the pair the two cellos, whose music can be very addictive to listen to and enjoy, here is Hauser - Benedictus

Not quite classical but still enjoyable is this last one I will share today

Stay well, healthy, remember music and laughter is great medicine. Enjoy.

Nick,

We rarely listen to music as background.  When we do, we are there hearing every note, and yes it is a balm to the soul.  A

Hello Nick - music definitely touches our hearts. I remember well watching the English duo (Torvill and Dean??) ice dance to Bolero - it was stunning.

Are you familiar with Gil Shaham? He's my favorite modern-day violinist.

Music is wonderful. It has the power to transport us and transform the mood. Think about movies - the music can be critical to setting the scene. Love the choices you shared here.

Hi Nick - music hasn't been a big part of my life.  I had a transistor radio and a phonograph as a child but it wasn't an obsession like other people I knew.  Concert-going wasn't a part of my adolescence.  I remember when I went to Europe for the first time on a business trip in the 1980s and took my Sony Walkman(I believe it was a gift) and took a cassette from Michael Feinstein playing Gershwin songs.  I loved it and purchased many of his recordings over the years.

Maybe my taste was never of  popular music of the time I was growing up...   Your post brought me back to those days.  It's been a long time.  Thanks for musical reminder.   Oops - sorry for the long comment.

This is wonderful Nick.  Music brings back certain memories for me.  I can remember growing up and after a big family dinner, my cousin and I would sing while doing the dishes.

My wife and I are now listening to music most of our awake hours. Network news is absolutely depressing but music affects another part of our brains.

Morning Nick.

Music for me consists of patriotic, religious songs or those from the 50's.

Nina Hollander I hope you enjoyed them, not long, but all had something that lifts the spirits.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD absolutely, music can be very transformative and you can even dance to it.

Michael Jacobs I like long comments as it usually means the person is thinking about what they are saying. I was not a big music person when young, and prefer silence and the singing birds to music all the time. So totally understand your point of view.

Kathy Streib you spearked a memory for me of Sunday evenings, drying the dishes listening to radio plays as my Mum washed, and we three kids dried the dishes. No singing from us, but those plays were always fun to listen to.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS I listen to music in small doses, but when I do I want it to lift me up, so am quite choosy. I love Pharell's Happy.

James Dray I love Big Band music, used to listen to a lot of Buddy Rich and his Big Band when i was growing up, nothing like a great drum solo.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 I agree, I have very wide choice in music, it covers all angles, the hardest for me is RAP and HipHop, not favourites, but almost everything else I will listen to.
