My husband and I are lucky enough to be working from home these days. And we fully appreciate that we have the flexibility and luxury to do so.
Yet, we also have three small children and new homeschooling responsibilities to perform. New challenges have certainly come to light.
One of these challenges is the need to get work done WHILE keeping up with the kids. So, today here are ten activities that kids can do on their own, when you just need to sit down and work for a few minutes.
Activities for Kids When You Need to Work
1. Have kids create a card/picture for grandma and grandpa or a dear friend
2. Play with Playdoh
3. Give your kids a box or recycling to create with (and all of the supplies they could possibly need)
4. Make bead jewelry
5. Collect bugs in the backyard
6. Blow bubbles
7. Set up Dominoes (and knock them down!)
8. Give them a puzzle worksheet or book
9. Show them how to play the lava game
10. Set up a fort for them to play under
