Helllo Guys

Have you all taken another look at your goals for the year 2008. Well i have and it is totally different to wat i had anticipated, gas prices has already made a big dent in it, real estate has picked up a great deal, but food prices are  so high. Do you think we will have a break soon. I am going to redo my goals since we are half way through the year and i guess you all should too

Hi Diane,

Funny, but I was just talking with someone about this today. At this point, I'm not re-adjusting my objectives, it just gives me a little more to work with. Mine aren't financial (meaning a dollar amount) yet it's based on how many people I can help by listing, selling or leasing properties.

For me helping enough people means the income will follow. BTW, leasing doesn't pay much here, but it does lead to future business so that's why I include it.

Good luck and keep posting!

Gas prices have caused everything to go up in price, I have been working with buyers who want a deal and I have driven many miles to show them properties, one of my goals should be letting buyers go who are unrealistic! Thanks for the post

I usually look at where I am with my goals every quarter.  i find it really does help to keep me on track.

My friend Pam and I just came back from a retreat where we reviewed our goals.  We went to a place called Bedford Springs Resort and Spa.  I brought the goals we had written last year and we talked about them.  In terms of the number of sales, I'm pretty much on track.  With the higher gas prices, I'm adjusting my trips but ultimately I can't worry about the things I can't change.
