School is almost out and some parents will be wondering what to do, to keep the kids busy and having fun.  Here is a short list of some things your children may enjoy.

Visit the Ontario Science Centre - touch a tornado, listen to a heart murmur, or crawl through a cave.
It's fun and educational.

Ontario Science Centre

Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) - The Museum is right on the subway line. Very easy to get to, and there are many interactive exhibits that will keep kids interested (they also have a Summer camp).

Royal Ontario Museum

CN Tower - Take the glass elevator all the way up to the glass floored outdoor observation deck. Kids love it.

CN Tower

Centreville Amusement Park - located at Toronto's Centre Island, features pony rides, antique ferris wheel and carousel. The ferry ride to the island is a great adventure for children.  Go early, take a picnic basket and enjoy your day. Rent a bike and tour the island.

Centre Island

Ontario Place - it's a day filled of family entertainment.  It has the largest outdoor soft play climbing structure in the country, pedal boats, a water park, and the largest IMAX movie screen in Toronto.

Ontario Place

The Toronto Zoo - 710 acres of beautiful Rouge Valley - Six different zones of animals from a particular area of the world. Take comfortable shoes. You will walk a lot, but you will love it. Don't miss the African Safari and the Gorilla Rainforest; and also the Interactive Zoo.

The Toronto Zoo

Canada's Wonderland - just off highway 400, but if you like theme parks, you can't miss this one.  Make it a whole day's event. It has lots of thrill rides, family rides, shows, and a water park. It's our mini Disneyland. The admission fee gets you into all the rides.

Canada's Wonderland

Have a fun and safe Summer.

Thank you, Kathy.  It's challenging to keep kids busy during the Summer.  I think it's less stressful for parents (and for the kids); when they have something fun to do ... Summer is way too short.  We need to take a break too, and enjoy the short time we have with our kids.  (I even like going to the zoo by myself ... I find it very relaxing and it's good exercise.)  :)

Sylvie - building memories of good times are very important in the life of a child. I find it amazing the amount of detail my children remember of things we did together when they were very very young. They are now busy building memories for their children and us for our grandchildren.
