The Trawler Fest was held in Anacortes, WA for the first time last month and it drew a large crowd to Fidalgo Island! Appoximately 1300 boaters came to Anacortes and enjoyed Anacortes Marinas, restaurants and shops. Anacortes is know to be a boating community with lots of marinas and easy access to the San Juan Islands. If you don't have a boat you can go to the San Juan Islands via the Washington State Ferry.
The Anacortes Trawler Fest was sponsored by PassageMaker Magazine. Visiting boaters as well as Anacortes residents had a great time helping to maintain Anacortes as the boating capital of the Northwest.
