Hi Everyone! Monday and wondering how you all handled last week? Were
you able to enjoy your Easter Sunday? I do hear that people are getting a
little restless and depressed - feeling unhappy in the confinement. One person
told me today that he was beginning to feel stir-crazy.
I heard this morning that one of our main grocery chains here in the Metra
Orlando area has a new ruling: only 10 people allowed in the store at one
time. I do know that our Publix Grocery Chain - one of Florida's largest
grocery chains, has installed one-way directional markers in aisles in order
to keep customers moving in one direction. It improves Coronavirus social
distancing. As a result, more people have begun taking advantage of the
Grocery Online Shopping and Delivery. A great deal this week is Prime Rib
Roasts- and delivered to your door!
But people are beginning to miss contact with others, families, friends,
co-workers, their outside entertainments, their outside lives. With this in
mind, I was thinking of Buddha and his messages on the necessity of going
deeper inside oneself where one becomes awakened and reaches contact
with the Soul. Therefore, today the quotes are those of Gautama Buddha.
Have a great week! Jane

"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing
it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."

"Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give
yourself to it."
"The tongue is like a sharp knife...Kills without drawing blood."
"Teach this triple truth to all: A generous heart, kind speech, and a life
of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.

to die."
"What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine,
you create."

what leads you forward and what hold you back, and choose the path that
leads to wisdom."
"There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not
going all the way, and not starting."
"Set your heart on doing good. Do it over and over again, and you will be
filled with joy."
"Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle. Happiness
never decreases by being shared."
"If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path."
