Wordless Wednesday...In Answer to Your Question Paul S. Henderson

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS  asked this question yesterday in ActiveRain’s Q&A section…

“Did you ever think you would have to wear a mask or a bandanna when you go into a 7-Eleven?”

masked

(See the arrow?...my retired policeman brother joked that the lady in the doorway is the owner and had a gun behind her back! LOL)

The other day I went to a liquor store for some dark beer for Larry’s beer bread.  I grabbed my mask just to play it safe.

Earlier in the day, I’d shared my masked “me” with friends in Kansas and their response was …

I wouldn’t go into a bank or liquor store if I were you!

There's my answer for you, Paul

Did you pay for that beer?  Or did you do a grab and go with your mask on?

I have made masks for us but I haven't been anywhere yet to wear mine. Rick wore his when he did the grocery shopping last week. I dread having to wear it...I don't like it at all...it sets off a panic response in me. LOL

Good morning Kathy,

Here we have to stand at the end of a ten-foot table outside and yell to the other mask person what we want!

Generally, the other person's response is what did you say!

Make yourself an astonishing day.

I'll bet if you wore that mask and were in that liquor store, and told the clerk, "This is a stickup," he would reply, "Whew, I'm glad it isn't coronavirus!"

That is funny!  On the other hand, this may just be the right time to go into the bank with a mask in you are thinking to make a large withdrawl. :-)

Kathy like I commented yesterday.  People use to get arrested if you wore a mask or bandanna into a store or bank, but these days you might get arrested if you don't wear one

Hi Wayne Martin I'm seeing more and more people wearing masks here.

Sham Reddy CRS I wear a mask when I have to go into a grocery store but even now, I'm trying to do curbside pickup to avoid crowds.

Barbara Todaro sadly until today they are not requiring masks. They will as of Monday. (personally I think our heads of the city and county should have grown a pair and made it mandatory earlier. His concern was that certain populations would not be able to afford or get a mask. Hello...two rubber bands and a bandana!

Hi Donald Urschalitz I've been disappointed in our mayor and county judge with regards to the masks and even closing some parks.

Grant Schneider I did see where there was someone who committed a crime and since the state is in some kind of emergency protocol, the fines will be a lot heavier.

Thanks Nina Hollander and I agree. It is a sad day when you can't find something that will make you smile or laugh.

Kat Palmiotti Larry didn't even have to use our breadmaker. And it turned out to be one of my favorites that he's made. Here's the recipe: https://www.food.com/recipe/beer-bread-73440

Sharon Lee I've been using curbside pickup for groceries, but I may don my mask and go in next time. I want to pick out my own vegetables.
