I loved this quote when I read it and I thank my friend, Wilma, for sharing it in the class newsletter.
When I lived in San Carlos, before moving to San Francisco, I used to attend a 5:40AM class in Redwood City. While that isn't feasible for me now, the friendships remain solid.
Classes have been stopped for the last 6 weeks, but we all stay in touch via newsletters with contributions from many participants. While I can't get out for hikes with some as I like to do, and can't invite them to join me in San Francisco for walks and lunch, and pot luck dinners and parties are on hold, we can talk on the phone, send emails back and forth, and enjoy the newsletters, keeping up with each other's activities.
