How Will You Look Post Pandemic?

I've heard lots of comments asking how things will look after this pandemic is over? My question is, how will you look? What I mean by this is, what will your attitude, your outlook, and your persona reflect from this experience?

ATTITUDE:

We all know attitude is important. What we project to those around us says everything. Will you reflect grit, determination, and fortitude or will you cave to the gloom and doom many have chosen?

Your attitude post-pandemic needs to be determined today. Sure we have all experienced loss of business and income. As we emerge, however, we need a game plan that involves action and perseverance.

OUTLOOK:

Your outlook on life is a true window to your soul. Are you known as one who makes the best of a situation or do you fret and worry? Possessing an outlook that inspires those around you to never give up is critical. As leaders in real estate, many are looking to us to blaze the trail as we come out of this situation.

Use this time now to plan, implement new ideas, and forge ahead with an outlook that inspires and creates confidence.

PERSONA:

Your persona is who you are inside. Your personality and style show up in every aspect of your life. A persona that invites others to work with you and to place their trust in you attracts business naturally. Are you open in your body language, smile with your eyes, and genuinely show interest in others?

We all need a lot more love and tenderness as we come through this time. Give others the grace they need and show kindness like never before.

It's never too late to make changes and this includes changes to yourself. Often, we are our own worst enemies as many times we don't take the time to assess our personal selves. Perhaps this is a good time to decide who you will be and how you will look post-pandemic.

a great question for all of us - I am just concerned that I am going to look like a skunk with a big white stripe down the middle of my head where my roots are growing out

Paula McDonald, Ph.D. hi Paula... it really is all up to us and how we decide how we'll respond to most anything in life... and not just a pandemic.

Good points, and very true. We all have to decide if we look at the glass as half empty, half full, or lets just fill it up, there is more water in the faucet.

HI Paula- I plan on continuing to have a positive outlook on life. And to Lise Howe  I am beginning to look like Cruella Deville (101 Dalmatians) except I have 2" grey roots and dark hair.

Morning Paula.

Hopefully, I'll look the same, just a few added wrinkles.  Otherwise, I believe it will take a little longer for the market to turn around

Good morning Paula McDonald, Ph.D., we each respond to things differently, luckily, that can be changed. No matter how positive I am, can't ignore the roots, my mirror doesn't lie.

I feel changed very little by this.  I miss my mama.  I miss hugging my mama.  I hate not shaking hands with people when I meet them. But I am still the person I was last year and hopefully who I will be next year.  I pray for health for this world.

Paula I have not changed one bit from action or attitude or performance, still carrying 14-16 listings... just closed one  a few days ago... and just listed a new Condo today... the only thing has changed my hair is getting shaggier and my car is getting dirtier since no Barbershops and Car washes are open... or should I say they are considered Non essential at least here in Los Angeles, Endre

We all have choices, don't we? That's the freedom we all have as Americans. We can choose to be a player who makes things happen or a spectator who watches things happen. The players get paid while the spectator pays. Pretty simple, isn't it? Super great post. God Bless the USA.

My post pandemic look is the same as it is now:  Focus on customer service, do what I can to protect myself and others when I go out, keep a positive attitude and promote real estate as a good investment.

Good food for thought!  Some have scaled backward to the point that when this is over and we get going again, they may be left behind.  Staying connected with clients right now is key or someone else will be!
