If it Doesn't Kill ya . . .

Ain’t Nothin’ but a Thang!

Storms happen!

Nashville got walloped yesterday afternoon and early this morning!
WHEW! STRONG storms with crazy wind gusts that toppled trees and hurled pretty much everything that wasn’t anchored to the ground. This is a different kind of event than the tornadoes we experienced not long ago.

A storm like this one affects MORE people because the damage is more widespread. Power outages throughout the city add yet another challenge during these already tumultuous times . . . and we did what we do . . . We called, texted, emailed, facebooked all of those folks close to us – Friends and Family to make sure everyone is OK.

I slept through the 2 AM performance and woke up to a flurry of text messages checking on Owen Hollow – No trees down, and I didn’t lose power. I left the house with my Chainsaw and am prepared to clear any trees, so I broadcast my offer to help others.

This is Mother Nature grooming herself.

It occurred to me that this storm is representative of the covid-19 Pandemic which has literally affected EVERYONE on the planet in some way – Many “Ultimate Sacrifice” victims – wounded and ill . . . and many not affected significantly at all.

Yes it’s true that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

We Nashvillians are getting stronger every day!

Meanwhile, our real estate market is THRIVING. Sure, there’s a pandemic storm doing its best to disrupt our Real Estate Sales Professionals, but we’re loving proving that all of this adversity only makes us stronger.

I will be in the office and accessible for my Paretozoans and Home Buying and/or selling clients regardless of the “weather” check-in (unless I get called away for an emergency chain saw need).
There IS power in the office if you need to work and don’t have power at your house. We can “socially distance” appropriately.

Hope your week is wonderful

I have noticed more breezes in Sacramento this year than usual.  And, yesterday, my sister told me she was experiencing winds in Idaho.

I heard about yesterday;s storm, Barry. I follow the Nashville weather as our granddaughter is about to start her senior year at Vanderbilt. Right now she's in Colorado with her parents for the summer and fotunately was in Florida when you were hit back in February. Glad to hear you are safe...
