Are you using your paper to its full cpacity?

There is more space on the page than you think. Your computer's common default settings are 12-point type and 1.25-inch left- and right-hand margins.

Try using 11-point type, 1-inch margins, and 0.5-inch right-hand margins.

That's all it takes to fit 27 percent more information comfortably on a page. A simple adjustment that will save paper, still leave you plenty of room on the margins and keep your document very professional looking.

This is true.  I do it because I need the space.

Casey:  Great tip that many may not have thought of.  I started doing this years ago when I was in a corporate office.  It just makes sense.  Looks like software programmers would change the default.

Adam and Donna - You guys knew about this huh?!?!  Man, this is awesome, I think we should petition Microsoft to make it a default setting in Word! :)

Epson finalized a class action suit recently regarding presetting cartridges to not to dispense all the ink they contained.

I worry more about ink costs but I will now also be more paper conscious.

Hi Casey,

I agree, great tip that most people probably just don't think of. A really simple thing everyone can do!

Sabrina - I hadn't heard of the Epson lawsuit.  Glad to hear they are making a change

Richard - Easy to do and you only have to do it once.
