The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way many people do business, including real estate agents. In order stay safe while working, you need to get creative with the selling process. Learn ways you can still connect with homebuyers and provide your services from the comfort and safety of your home.

Now is the time to start offering your real estate services digitally. One tool you can use is video conferencing, which is a great way to connect with clients and get more personal than a regular phone call. You can share your computer screen with clients to go over important documents or show them pictures of houses on the market.

You can also offer virtual tours of homes. Have home sellers take videos of their entire property and send it to you. Then, use video editing software to add a voiceover to the footage. In your voiceover, explain what the homebuyer sees and the different features of the home just like you would in person. After a prospective buyer watches the video, offer to meet with them for a video conference call to answer any questions they may have.

Another way to get work done while keeping your distance is to take drone footage of your properties. Use these flying cameras to get stunning birds-eye-view shots of a property. You can also fly your drone around the exterior of the property to give clients a more comprehensive view of the house. When using a drone, check local regulations for any flight restrictions, like flight ceilings or prohibited areas.

Though this pandemic is drastically changing the way many professionals do business, you can safely work around these restraints. Let your clients know you have the digital savvy to help them find their dream home in any circumstance.

I started to do the Chandler Home Tour, virtually.  We had 5 homes on tour and it turned out well.
