Last meal we ate out was breakfast at Cold Spring Tavern on March 14th. So we were jumping for joy and delighted to get the news that one of our favorite eateries in Carpinteria was once again open for business. We decided to stop in for lunch today at Rincon Brewery (pictured above).
Our two favorite items to share there are they Buffalo wings, and their Caesar salad. Both items were as good as we remembered.

Even though it was not the easiest of processes, (we had to wear masks to come in and order, given a number for a table, then when we sat down, we could take off the mask. It felt good to be served and not have to cook or do dishes. LOL Enjoy your weekend. A

I'm anxious for things to get back to normal. I miss swimming at my health club most. However, a couple family members have pools warm enough to swim in now, and I can enter and exit through their side gate to swim there. The three days of 100 degree heat this week made swimming glorious.

Funny thing is I love barbecue sauce but spicy doesn't agree with me. I like a variety of food so a varied menu is always a good thing as I can find something I like and can eat.

Hi Ron and Alexandra- we have dined in 4 times since Texas reopened and have been impressed with the precautions that have been taken. I love wings and caesar salad!!!! Larry and I have found that the older we are, we can't eat as much and end up sharing meals.

Kathy Streib we have been sharing meals for many years now. I don't think it is age related at least in our case. We are going to eat breakfast out tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it....it is so nice not to have to think of making a meal (what to make) or do dishes... I think that good stuff is going to come out of all of this when it comes to cleanliness in a restaurant. A

Lise Howe They had seating both inside and outside. The main dining space was devoid of seats, but they moved their kegs in the brewery room to make room for 2/2 tables, and 4 tables for 6. Outside there were many more seats, but it was a cold for us 64 degree weather and no sun. A
It's the little things right? It was so weird to be traveling and have little services available. Meals were always a challenge. I'm so sick of Starbucks egg white bites. Lol. D
Hello A and Ron, good for you. We are were trying to go to the Melting Pot on Sunday but they do not open to next weekend not looking for another great place.
