Good morning Gary. Not a clue! But willing to say many may be seeking out the peace of a location like Key West. The big cities have been taken over by thugs, vandals, and criminals in the name of justice. Free cell phones and liquor for all via rioting. Used to have to work and pay for them. Enjoy your day!

#5 is 626 William Street. Other than that, I don't know any of the answers, but if I lived in Key West, I'd be driving around to see if I could figure it out. It would be like a big scavenger hunt.

Kim, You are correct. Do you know which famous person lived there and do you also know he had a secret escape route?

Gary Thomas - No, I don't know who lived there. But if he had an "escape route" maybe Houdini?

Can you tell us?

Wayne, if the police had acted properly instead of like animals, there would not have been any need for anyone to protest the murder of Mr. Floyd. (Sorry Gary, I always enjoy reading your posts and hate to get into politics on here of all places, but I have about had it with the bigotry of the MAGA crowd. "free cell phones and liquor" included)

Kim, Jerry Herman (Hello Dolly!) and his partner renovated this home and lived there. There was a gate at the rear which opened onto Baker Lane which dead ended near the rear of the Herman house. James Leo Herlihy (Midnight Cowboy) lived at 709 Baker Lane which I sold a decade ago to another gay author. Heman and Herlihy were among the many writers, poets, painters, lyricists, and high-flyers who lived in Key West during the late 1970s and 1980s.
