ActiveRain is a great website to read and learn about different real estate market areas, changes in lending, and a wide range of other topics.

I check in regularly and read posts to learn more, but I do not post anything myself very often.

Why?

Well, I write regularly on my personal website, realtormarney.com , which I have built up over the years and find that it is useful for me. Towson real estate, Timonium real estate, Hunt Valley real estate, Baltimore real estate - I write about these topics on realtormarney.com .

I have trouble coming up with topics to post in both places - and I don't want to post the same thing twice.

I will still read and learn on ActiveRain - and will post more here when I find topics that fit this space better.

I'm still here and selling Towson real estate!

Hello Marney - thank you for checking in - it's good when familiar faces return to ActiveRain even if it's a reminder that they are still here.

Your own website as a blogging platform is a wise choice. Recent AR mishaps, glitches and issues resulted in a bit of crash last week that left many members frustrated and "freaked out". Aren't you glad you avoided the turmoil. It continues. . .

That said, it remains a good place to interact and exchange information, ideas as well as a laugh on occasion.

Yes, the AR crash last week caused the gnashing of teeth and, probably, verbal expressions that should not be made in the presence of children.

As I write this, we continue to await a fix.
