SOCIAL DISTANCE BBQ

By
Education & Training with Performance Development Strategies

What would 4th of July have been without our annual backyard BBQ with friends?  This year presented a challenge.  We usually host at our house but we were concerned about being able to social distance.

Our deck is long but narrow and the lawn behind it drops off into the woods.  There are 4 couples and we came up with a solution.  We would hold it this year at another couple's house.  Their house has a large back yard and we would have things that were packaged rather than sharing lots of food.

Voila!

So we celebrated but we improvised this year.  Whatever it takes!

How was your Independence Day celebration?

Good morning Grant. We visited a winery with tables at least 6 feet apart. And, it was wonderful! Enjoy your day!

I'm glad you were able to figure out a way to have your BBQ, but differently. It was a quiet 4th for us. Just me & the hubby & the bbq grill!

Endre - I was not scared to do it but there were varying degrees among our group.  I love hosting this every year.

James - that is true and the deaths are down but New York is by far the highest to date.

Wayne - haven't done that for a while.  I always enjoy it.

Kat - hope you do get  chance to mingle with your new neighbors.

Hello Grant - improvising and thinking outside the box can lead to excellent results at times. Congratulations on the success of your physical distancing Independence Day effort.

Grant,

Love the solution you all came up with.  The idea is to be together and share ourselves, not so much to eat...A
