Beautiful Parker Colorado Real Estate
My client Kelly P. and I took a ride on the 2-3 year old Hidden Mesa Open Space Trail just south of Parker, Co this morning June 14th, 2008. This is just what Parker, Castle Rock and Franktown have needed for years. Open to bikes, hikes and horses it's worth your time and effort to climb to the top. The views are awesome and this morning with the clear blue sky we could see beyond Pikes Peak to the south and all the way to Wyoming to the north. Luxury real estate, homes and 35 acres parcels of land are visible in the distance as well. We started our ride out of the Parker Road entrance around 7:15am and we were surprised to be the first ones in the lot. We estimate our total ride at around 6-8 miles. After a short ride north on the Cherry Creek Trail we took a hard left West to venture up the Hidden Mesa Trail entrance in a dead-end canyon. The ride is easy until you hit the uphill which is rocky and pretty steep. Better and more experienced riders could handle it no problem. We both ended up spinning out and pushing the last 100 feet. Once on top its smooth sailing and a beautiful relatively flat ride with a little rock play and slight downhill tracks. When we reached the top to start our ride on the Mesa the trail forks and we decided to take it counter clockwise and it was definitely the best choice.
Watch out for horses and their riders as well as hikers.
Overall a great ride for anytime. Maybe not as tough as some would like it but for Parker and Douglas County we have long needed something close to home to ride after work or whenever.
