I am a strong believer in the constant pursuit of education.  We all have different requirements or preferences for how we learn.  I feel that continuous education is a key component in my success regardless of what I do.  Despite the fact that I've done relatively well in my 1st year in real estate I still feel the need to get more training and thus would like to obtain at least get one accredication this year.  Not because I feel that the consumer WANTS me to!  But because I want to expand on my training.  My major desire/need is in two areas:  (1) Prospecting FSBOs & expired and (2) working with buyers in the most productive way.

Having said that, I wonder "does anyone have an opinion on which is better:  GRI or ABR?".  In other words, if your funds were limiting you to only do one this year which would you choose?

Hi Dorothy  -  Nice post.  The designations are all good.  Some better then others.  You should check with your local board of REALTORS and talk to the education department about the cost and requirements for the ones that interest you.  Have a great day!!!
