The recent influx of rain we've had in Northern Illinois has caused a lot of flooding. If anybody has a house in that area that has been affected by this flooding I would recommend immediate remediation. Delaying remediation will cause larger, more costly repair to be done. Immediate removal of excess of water and clean up will lessen the chances of major mold issues. Even if your house has not been affected by flooding, but is in that area, I would recommend taking precautions. Have your sump checked, as they only last for five years or less.
