DRIVING THROUGH PAIA MAUI HAWAII

 

Well if video is the next big thing, I need to get with the program and start making some videos of my beautiful island... Maui.

Here's a crude example of what a Realtor can do with just enough tools to be dangerous.  It's less than 2 minutes. I used Windows Movie Maker, which was pretty easy to use, and good enough for now.  I will be improving my skills and bringing some better videos in days to come.

Let's have a big hand for ... the Aquavelvets, for providing the spacey surf music.

Yeah...pretty raw...but at least you had some spacey music to go with it lol!  I need to improve too...what kind of video did you use?

Sally - I used my regular camera, a Pentax Optio - it takes video until the memory runs out.  It's also waterproof to 6 feet or so, so it's really versatile.  EZ to use and compact.  I need to check out the FLIP and see if I want to get one or not.  It sure is time consuming though isn't it?

Georgina, that was a good 1st start. I haven't done one yet so you are ahead of me. Somehow, driving and video taping seem to be a conflict since cell phone use while driving will soon bring tickets. I'll have to figure that one out...

Gena - it's very time consuming, but fun.  Take lots of footage and trim it down.  I wasn't talking on the phone too... haha.

Cool first video. I look forward to seeing more in the future. I came to your blog to see if I could find an expanded explaination of your inturpretation of the AR points system... I'd like to hear more about these hamsters with thick glasses

Team Chacon - haha - those rumored hamsters sit around and decide which posts get some extra points.  If they have enough beer  inspiration, they will throw some your way.

Georgina, nice video. I must admit we've been toying with adding videos to our site for a while but haven't taken action yet. I suppose there is no better tim than the present!
