This Week...So Much Change

 

Change is a part of life and we’ve all had major doses of change this year.

With the school year approaching, parents and teachers are trying to figure out what will be best for not just the children but parents as well.  My niece is busy preparing her classroom and how she will work with whatever is decided. 

 

 

They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom. Confucius



But, she’s also a mom of 3...all in different schools. Needless to say, she has her hands full. 

 

 

Tropical Storm Hanna is off the coast of Texas so yes...we will have weather changes this weekend.

Hello Kathy, Wow, I guess she does have her hands full.  I am still not sure about opening schools till we have this virus under better control (my opinion)

Change can be a good thing much of the time.  The rest, maybe not so good or challenging.  Hopefully, if it's the latter, you'll be able to make lemonaid out o9f lemons

Hi Kathy first of all thanks for sharing the BT new FB group!  As for change - we were just chatting about that while having a 'car picnic'!  That's a change! Too hot to be sitting in a park!  So many, many changes and with each one I did find opportunities to make it the best possible for me. If we had children waiting/wanting to go back to school it be quite simple for me. I'm a big fan of private schools or charter schools. So that's where they'd be going to and most of those are opening in my area.  My niece is so sad as she was looking to her first year of junior high. Sweet little girl full of life and curiosity. Her Mom is a teacher and has decided to create a co-op per se with other parents and home school their 4 kids.  Huge job!

It's all starting to feel like the new normal. I wonder how much will actually go back to the way it was.

As for schools...I really don't want my daughter having to go back to teaching and I don't want my grands going to school yet either. We are still waiting to hear how it will all play out here.
