Take a pen and paper with you.  Jot the following information down.  You may think you can remember it all, but after the 6th or 7th house, everything starts blending together.

Do you like the style home?

How about the curb appeal?  Does it have any?

Do you like the neighborhood?

Does the backyard fit your needs?

Is the master bedroom upstairs or downstairs?  What about the closet space?

How much counter space is in the kitchen?

Is there anything unique about the house?

Is there anything that you think needs to be fixed/updated?  Is the house priced so that you can afford to make those changes?

Rate the house on a 1-10 scale

Theres always more to look for, but these are commonly overlooked the most.
