So many people who are moving into the Tampa Bay Area often are associated with the base. I myself a former employee at Mac Dill Air Force base know first hand what it means to PCS(Permanent Change of Station). I was a Business Managment Specialist with the Air Force. This is a fancy title for Club Manager. Though I was only at Mac Dill for a couple of years I had the privilidge of being PCS'ed to Ramstien Air Base in Germany. I lived overseas for five years and wow, what an expericence. Needless to say though I was not an active duty member, I do know first hand what it means to relocate. My hats off to our service members. It is amzing how you move all over the world and serve our country with such honor. So before you start calling countless of agents, allow me to be your laison to your new home. I have been in Tampa Bay since 1976, college educated, with a background in business and more importantly know what issues you face when coming to a new base.
