Branding Moment: Smile--Show Us Those Pearly Whites!

Although, we do not own a dog, this box of dog treats recently caught our attention with its picture. We did not need to read to know what the product was.  It was obvious!

Pictured above is the front of the box.  The brand name, "DentaStix" is a perfect name describing the product. The box further explains the benefits with nine words.

Sharon Lee I looked them on line and they sell two for $17.00, whereas at TJ's they are $2.99 each, and are full of vitamins and other things that are good for cats, taurine, etc.  Amazon has them for the same price.  Q's teeth are in good shape according to the vet, he is 6 years old.  A

Myrl Jeffcoat I like it too, and it appeals to many, or Von's would not carry it.  They can keep an eye like any other store as to what sells and what does not.  A

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel - This is a great ad. Our eyes are drawn to the teeth and that makes us stop to look at the ad.

Thank you. I think it is because of her diabetes her teeth have become soft. She is 9 so doing what I can to keep her around for several more years.

Hahaha. Naturally, it caught my eye. I would stop and take a look to read more about the ingredients. If I like those, I'd try them for certain.

Morning Alexandra.

Maybe they make them for cats.  I wonder if Quincy would like them?

Those do work. When you have a dog with bad breath they are wonderful (not sure about making the teeth white). I know a couple of Realtors who need them.

Endre Barath, Jr. Glad to hear dogs like them, and we have had our former cat's teeth cleaned by the vet.  Quincy has not needed it.  Wishing Diane and you a great weekend. A

Hi Ron and Alexandra- those look familiar! We may have given these to our dog Lucky. And yes, they convey the message very quickly.

Hi Ron and Alexandra,  No matter how long I have been giving my dogs these dentastix - they still don't smile like the one in the advertisement.

Reminds me of a video I saw - where a small dog had grabbed his human's denture.

Yes - seeing human teeth on a dog face is definitely eye-catching!
