Good morning, Sheila and Larry. Do your gated community residents pay higher HOA fees. In my area, when communities are gated the streets become private and it's up to residents to pay to maintain them instead of the Counties doing so. That leads to higher HOA fees or large assessments and it's one reason why we don't have many gated communities.
