Thankful Thursdays...For Someone Spreading Humor
It may not seem like it, but we all have so much to be thankful for...even while we are traveling this bumpy road we are on.
This week, I am thankful for someone I don’t even know. Each morning I do a quick check-in on my Nextdoor App. For example, I can check to see how many of the coveted Ford tailgates have been stolen in the area. (remember...I’m in Texas)
But recently I came across someone who has been placing humorous signs in his neighborhood. You could call them the adult version of the chalk art that kids have been leaving on sidewalks for us...encouraging us to Be Kind.
Here are just a few of his signs.
Anyone who would take the time to do this for his neighbors is someone we need more of in this world.
A day without laughter is a day wasted. Charlie Chaplin
A well-developed sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life. William Arthur Ward
BTW...I asked the humorous author of these signs if I could share them with you and he very graciously gave his permission.
