Okay, okay, okay, I just read one of the blogs encouraging me, yes specifically me, I know she was talking to ME, to jump right in. plunk.
I was just thinking about how truly beautiful it is this afternoon, sun is shining, new grass, flowers, and probably a few weeds, are starting to sprout. Temperature is almost 60 degrees, which after our many weeks of gloomy, sub-30 degree days, is refreshing, not to mention exhiliarating, being able to spend a few minutes outside without your nostrils sticking together from the cold, making oxygen in-take extremely difficult. Ah, fresh spring air, there is truly nothing like Spring in the Wenatchee Valley.
People seem to smile more, or perhaps its you can actually see their face, rather than the woolen scarf they have triple-wrapped around their mouth and nose. I actually ordered a double-tall, Iced White mocha...a true sign warm days are just around the corner.
It appears things in the Real Estate market seem to be picking up as well, I noticed in last nights Wenatchee World that we, Wenatchee, was chosen as #5 in the"greenest" places to live. We placed #2, I believe, in real estate appreciation, a whopping 20.9% in the previous 12 months. Woo-Hoo!!, at least for existing home owners, not the same exhiliation for first time homebuyers. Our median home price has continued to increase, often putting the dream of home ownership outside the reach of many people. I'll continue to look, and shop for those special people to allow them the awe-inspiring feeling of being a home-owner.
Thanks so much for the encouragement to jump right in....I'm not queasy or feel sick to my stomach yet, thats a good thing.
Bye for now.
