Tonight's views of the Phoenix Downtown and Tempe must have been pretty exciting for many hikers. I started counting how many were visible on my photo.
Let me know what number you will come up with.
Here is a close-up picture.
It was about 108°F, but somehow we get used to it and don't notice it after a while.
The climb up those rocks is pretty easy, and the path is winding and gradual. So it is attractive for many hikers to try it.

108 degrees? I feel like such a whiner! We get cranky when it gets to 90, although the humidity makes it feel pretty nasty.

Hi Wayne Martin , I am glad you thought of hiking, I usually feel so good after the walk, especially if it is asteep trail. YOu probably have some pretty picturesque hikes near water in your area.

Steffy Hristova - I always have been a fan of climbing every mountain. It sure beats sitting at home watching T.V. or doing nothing. It's harder for me to climb like I used to but I still love taking photographs like you! Your photographs are great! That sunset seemed to set in my soul too!
Hi Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP , I think you would love this hike, it's easy and level, if you like it that way, or it could be easy and going uphill, and winding. On the other side of the red rocks there is an amphitheatre with Phoenix as a backdrop.

Hi Kathy Schowe , thanks for the follow and for your comments. This is a very easy trail and very open and visible, too. You are right, we have to keep our eyes wide open and be aware of the surroundings when in Nature.
