One thing I do at least once a day is scroll through Pinterest for ideas to share with clients or just in my own home. From cheap alternatives to shiplap to dazzling up your entryway I enjoy my home improvement, but at what point do you admit you are not the Pinterest queen you think you are and its time to hire someone. DIY is not for everyone. I know this. Netflix knows this. it's just a fact that while you may have the right idea, you are the wrong person to make it a reality.
There are tasks too big, but you wanted to budget. a big cost in home improvement is labor costs it really makes a difference in something costing a few hundred dollars to potentially a few thousand. Please keep in mind before you start any project on your own to have a safety cushion budget in case not all goes according to plan. That new ceiling fan seemed easy to install in theory now you have a hole in the ceiling and loose wires dangling out for 3 months (I may have some history with this) ... Make sure if its something that would take longer than 5 minutes that you have a back up plan!
