Some tunes are from movies but carry their own mystique, I think Somewhere over the Rainbow is one of those, sung here by a young Judy Garland.
Another song like the one above is If I were a rich man from Fiddler on the Roof, sung here by Topol
And another classic war movie with a great theme was A Bridge too Far about the effort to take all the Rhine Bridges and the failed attempt when it came to the bridge in Arnhem. A reminder to me of some of the music from the Battle of Britain theme, which I am sure we will get to later this week.
