I am reminded each time I sit down to write my newsletter, how important it is to get my name in front of past clients.  Clients I've worked with before.

Also, to remember details that may seem small or insignificant, but mean alot to our clients....like an anniversary of starting a new job, checking on them after they return from their annual vacation, dropping by their favorite treat(s)...like a Starbucks Gift Card with a personalized, hand written note just saying, "Thank You" for your past business.

It's all important.

I'm putting together my new newsletter right now and am going back to my old way of doing it with more pictures....Clients like to see what I've been up to.  It makes them feel more "connected" to me.

I hope it will also make them remember me when it comes time to buy, sell or their loved ones or friends/coworkers to do the same.

Here's to a great 2nd half of 2008 for all of us!!

Hang in there, Baby!!

XOXO

Todd:  I agree with you.  I think that newsletters can be an excellent source of referrals when combined with additional methods of keeping connected to our sphere of influence.

I agree that clients like the pictures.  I often include pictures of my boys which seem to bring many comments.

It does mean alot to our clients. The most important thing to remember is to be consistent with your newsletters to get results.

I have never added pictures to the newsletter.  That is a great idea.  I will have to do that in the next one due out July 1

Todd, we also use newsletters as well as other methods to keep our names out there.  The handwritten notes are always a great touch.

I love sending out newsletters but we have hard time keeping up with different ideas for our newsletter. I always put business cards inside so that they can pass them out to their friends and family.  If we have a listing I put a picture of the house in the newsletter as well.

Referrals = better leads and also more exposure. There is NOTHING that measures up to referrals!
