I read my quick intoduction and thought of course I want referrals, but then I thought wow, there is some meat in the context here, (yes, I am a newbie) I had better explain a little about myself before I assume the referrals are going to be flying in.

Of course the easiest way to do this is check out great web-site!  But for those of you who do not want to break away from this awesome post here goes.  I am a Realtor located in South Orange County California, the place that all corners of the world people flock to. My little neighborhood is one of the best places to live with a strong economy, great weather, easy access to the beach, desert, mountains, I could go on and on, but I am sure you have already heard about the strengths of Southern California.

Yes, I had the successful corporate career; I traveled the world mfg. and marketing products until something struck me. I spent an awful lot of my free time in open houses, or speaking with my single friends about their financial strengths and lack of(of course homeownership) and the ultimate white picket fence dream. I quickly thought, hey maybe there is something to this real estate thing.

Little did I know my vision, marketing, negotiation, organization and creative skills would all be huge assets in building a successful Real Estate business and the main strength in my clients loyality.

Surprise, surprise, surprise, I quickly became in love with Real Estate!  Why, because I love the opportunity. Second I love helping people take the next steps in their lives, whatever that step may be!  Third and what I am most inspired about is inspiring Singles to fulfill the dream of homeownership. Whether it is motivating them to stop waiting for Prince Charming, or maybe it is moving into that larger Castle. It is important to remember It's Possible!

So this gives you a little blurb about me. Should you have any clients looking to move to So Cal. I would love a call so strategize together what is best for your clients.  I am graciously open to a referral and most importantly I want you to trust your clients are in good hands.

Remember, It's Possible!

Kelly,

Welcome. I wish more people would do this. It give everyone an opportunity to "know the person"a little. You sound like a down to earth person who I wouldn't mind sending a referral to, knowing that you would take care of my client. Congrats on the Gold Star!

nice post... I think that sometimes clients get frustrated with me taking a while to refer them to an appropriate Realtor when the opportunity arises... the reason is that each small city here is so unique I interview my Realtors to make sure the client and the area are a fit...

it is good for us to constantly update our referral partners of new programs and features to keep them in the loop

Thanks for the intro Kelly.  I will keep you in mind for referrals.  I have already sent 2 referrals out to Active Rain members in the month I have been a member.  Please keep me in mind for anyone wanting the Boise, Idaho market from your area. I can't tell you how many thousands of Californians have moved to Idaho in the past several years.  Have a great weekend.

These blogs are great for clients to shop for you, while not taking up a lot of your time. I have gotten several leads and built some valuable relationships in "The Rain".

Good luck.

Welcome, Kelly. Thanks for your post! I like to find out things, such as what you have shared, about agents and how they work before I will refer to them. And I hope agents who might consider me will do the same. And AR is a great place to do that. sharing your thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, knowledge, and more makes you that much more valuable as a potential referral for others.

Liked your website!  I thought that you were a real estate newbie, but when I went to your website, I quickly realized that you are an AR newbie.  Great job! Welcome aboard.
