Wow! What an aggressive real estate market in Phoenix AZ. Last week there were a little over
7,000 listings, and over 13,000 in escrow!
Talk about a market where there can be five or 10 showings the first day and three offers, anything
under $350,000. That is what it is like here.
In April I began my 41 years, after helping over 930 families, my desire, drive, and passion are still going strong. Even publishing two books about it in 2004 and 2006.
The market is nothing like it was 40 years ago. Quite interesting yet annoying to someone who was in business before cell phones.
Had to always have quarters, so you could stop and use a payphone. I know you don't know what that is.
However, prior to 1990 we as listing agents ALWAYS met with the listing agent and the seller and presented our offers in person! That is the way to communicate.
Get more than $1000 or $3000 for earnest money if you need to compete with other offers.
And change that inspection to four or five days instead of 10.
