With the heat we've been experiencing, you'd think that Summer already started.  Well, here on the West Coast, Summer officially begins on Friday, June 20th at 4:59pm. At this time the Sun will be at its most Northern point in its path around the Earth. This also marks the beginning of Winter in the Southern hemisphere.

Also, Wednesday June 18th is the Full Moon.  If you are outside at 8:36pm you might be able to witness the Solstice Moon Illusion. Look to the East where the moon will be rising.
