Woohoo! 10,000 points!

I remember not so long ago when we first signed up for Active Rain, and I thought to myself, "how am I ever going to earn as many points as some of the featured members?!?"

But here I am, less than a month later, and I've reached 10,000 points!

Celebrate good times, come on! Duh duh duh duh duh... (imagine the music)

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about that, and also excited that I've moved from somewhere like 120 in Orange County down to 65, and hopefully still falling! I have to hand it to other Orange County members out there though, they're a dedicated bunch. I've moved up in the rankings significantly slower here than in Calidfornia as a whole.

So, thanks to those who've commented or sent messages, and here's to another month and another 10,000 points.

It is exciting, and I know the feeling. I just realized the other day that I will soon be doing my 100'th blog. I remember seeing a few others that blogged that much, and thinking it will take me a long time to get to that point. I've actually not been as active lately on AR (bad I know) yet I will still be getting to this point in less than a year. I'm thrilled to have done that so quick. Keep plugging away, it IS worth it!

I think if you continue to blog you will find out that you will rise a lot faster than you think. It is amazing how many people just stop when they don't see instant results from Activerain. I bet if you check out the people right in front of you that many haven't done posts in over a month or maybe even longer.

Good tip, Todd! I've definitely been surprised actually how easy it is to move up. Just being consistent and regular is a good way to get there. Slow and steady, right?
