Here is the typical life - typical, though not everybody does it this way. But for the most part, people's lives generally go something like this:

You're born
You eat and sleep
You play with toys
You go to school
You play little league
You go to school
You learn to drive
You go to school
You leave high school
You go to more school, but you pay for it now
You get a job
You get married
You buy a house
You have kids
You watch your kids eat, sleep, play and go to school
You work, work, and work
You retire
You die

That's the basic life, isn't it? I know there is more to it, but that is about it for most people.

What in the world are you doing? I mean, what are you doing besides the typical "enjoying yourself while you are waiting to die" scenario? What kind of impact are you making?

Brett you are so right, there is so much more to life than this. Making a difference, making an impact. I recall one of your previous topics, practice real estate like you only have 30 days to live. Im also committed to performing like a top producer and doing the tasks and chores necessary to get there.

Im determined to make the most of my life while I have it. Each day is another gift and blessing.

If you make an impact, aren't you doing it for people that are mostly doing the things in your  list?  I think you do the best you can to take care of yourself and those around you and if you are lucky enough to be smart, you may create something special to move mankind up a notch.  What else is there?  Oh, vacations!  I like the topic.

I try to make an impact on my family first and then on others around me by being positive and helping them to achieve.

My impact is to put my family and children first ~ how our children see us behave, live and unltimately enjoy life and all it has to OFFER is the impact we will be leaving long after we die.

Hi Brett,

In answer to your question, I am alway trying to find ways to live a life that gives me joy.  I try to follow my bliss.

Hopefully in addition to all that, you are taking the time to give back to this world and make an impact in the lives of other people.

I sat in a class taught by Linda McKissick one time...she is a mega agent in the Dallas Texas area with Keller Williams.

She said:  The purpose of LIFE is to TRULY LIVE before you die.   The purpose of your business is to FUND THAT TRULY PERFECT LIFE.

In other words, there is more to living than just working and eating and breathing...and business and working IS NOT life, just the way to pay for it!
