Today I got an e-mail from someone at Wanna Network.com It was about a web blogger name Vlad Zablosky who is being sued by Ben Behrouzi at eperks. Ben Behrouzi claims that Vlad's post has caused him harm and damage- Whatever. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? This is the link to the blog. Please read the story at your convenience.

Anthony- I agree. But someone needs to put the word out if they think someone is being taken advantage of to prevent other people from getting hurt. Thanks for your comments.

Anyone can sue anyone else.  Winning is another thing.

If someone portrays themselves as a real estate professional and givesadvise that turns out to be detrimental I can see them getting sued.  How about the agent that tells a seller to get behind on their payments so they qualify for a short sale?   Is there recourse for that seller when their credit is shot?

Robert- Exactly. That's why I said whatever happened to "Freedom of Speech?". Thanks for your comments.

David-This is about someone blogging about a company that sells bull crap leads to real estate professionals like us. This has nothing to do with a real estate professional giving advice that turns out to be detrimental. But I definitely understand where you are coming from. Thanks for your comments.

Lanre,  Robert is right.  Anyone with the filing fee can sue, and whether or not they win, they can make life unpleasant for the interim.  When we go onto any blogging venue, it's good to be at least somewhat careful - I usually leave out the names to protect the guilty when someone becomes blog godder.

I'm with Pat - I leave out the names to protect the guilty.  But THEY know who they are!

Hi Lanre

I think we should use discretion in what and how we write. The concern is that this is an open forum and I do not want to use names. I thin the forum is great to discuss situations. I agree it is easy to file a law suit and winning is not as easy but the stress of a law suit is overwhelming and a huge price to pay. Great post.

Lanre- I think it is important to excercise care in what we write about.  There have been other cases where bloggers have been sued.

Patricia-So true pat. You definitely want to leave out the name of the person who you are talking about. Thanks for stopping by.

James-They definitely know who they are. Good to hear from you sir. Thanks for your comments.

Barbara-Since this is a open forum, you have to use discretion since you don't know who might come and read your post. I am still waiting for your Meme Barbara-LOL. Thanks for your comments.

Jennifer-Bloggers getting sued. Not good at all. Good to hear from you Jennifer. Thanks for your comments.
