Honoring The Wonderful Men In Our Lives On Father's Day

On Father’s Day, let us all take the time to recognize and honor the everyday super-heroes in our lives.

The men who offer their encouragement, impart their wisdom and give us an example to follow truly deserve a special moment of acknowledgement... and not just today, but every day. Let’s make them feel appreciated for the many roles that they play, as well as loved for their efforts in shaping our lives.

As Antoine-François Prévost said: "The heart of a father is the masterpiece of nature."

We may not shower him with praise
Nor mention his name in song,
And sometimes it seems that we forget
The joy he spreads as he goes along,
But it doesn’t mean that we don’t know
The wonderful role that he has had.
And away down deep in every heart
There’s a place that is just for Dad.....

I'm a day late in reading this Nina Hollander but thank you for the best wishes. I had a wonderful Fathers Day Weekend. We spent Friday and Saturday camping and the bulk of Sunday between church and family activities. It was really nice to have both adult children home and no one had made plans with friends, it was an entirely family weekend.
