When you go to see a property with your agent, did you know that the listing agent is most likely going to contact your agent and request feedback about the showing. They want to know if you had any interest and if not what did you think.
In this market with some properties lingering feedback is becoming more and more important. It can help a seller and the listing agent make changes to a property so that it will make a better impression.
For instance if several buyers all say that the property seemed dark, the seller can make it a point to make sure all curtains are pulled back and blinds opened. If several buyers feel that there is not enough counter space in the kitchen the seller can consider removing all of their stuff that may be sitting on the counters.
Some agents use email following fshowings for feedback. There are several company's that automatically sends out an email asking for feedback after the showing. So, sometimes if an agent asks you what you thought about a property it is so they provide the feedback to the listing agent and the seller. It's helpful.
There are days when I show a lot of property's (let's say ten) I then get 10 emails confirming the showings, then I get 10 emails asking for feedback, then the following day I continue to get emails asking for feedback and some agents keep sending requests for feedback. You are not the only one who can get annoyed
Good post and using a feedback mechanism keeps you in touch with the realtors
