Looking for lawyers in all the wrong places... sung to the tune of "Looking for Love"

I have a list of local lawyers (yes I know attorney is more proper but I wanted the L L L ... List of Local Lawyers.) My list of local lawyers are people who practice real estate law... people who can be of use to my clients.

Find a lawyer before one finds you....

Now I am looking for local lawyers who have another expertise. I think. Reading attorney Joseph Ferrara's suggestions on How to IDIOT Proof Your Blog From Lawsuits Joe (acting as a real estate blogger and not a lawyer) spells it out for real estate bloggers or maybe all bloggers:

"D: Disclaimer"

"I: Incorporate"

both require a lawyer.... Visit Joe at Sellsiusº Real Estate blog for details on how to protect yourself as a blogger. Who'd sue a sweet, little, harmless real estate blogger like you..

Maureen, the more and more I read about these things, the more I think to myself. Be Careful! Be very careful! I have never gotten controversial or even spoken somewhat negativly in my public blog for these types of fears. It is a shame that our freedom of speech can also be our freedom to be sued.

I think I started out careful and with the knowledge that there are bullies. I used to have along hairy disclaimer on my blog. I bet Lucas and Vlad will both come out of this OK. It is a shame they have to go through it. Teri I would buy the book for that. one thing.
