Mask Wearing Do's and Don'ts
It looks like wearing masks is going to be around for quite some time. So, you'll want to keep a few things in mind.
- Make sure your mask covers your nose and mouth and fits securely. There are many different designs and styles you may need to try a few before you find the perfect one for you.
- Once your mask is on, don't touch it - constantly touching your mask spreads germs different surfaces.
- Be sure to take it off without touching the fabric on your mask
- You should have more than one mask, I have one for every day of the week since I don't do laundry every day.
Be sure to clean your mask after each wearing.- Discard the filter after each use. You can use coffee filters, paper towels, HEPA filter
- Wash your mask in hot water and dry in a hot dryer
- Don't cross-contaminate masks by washing other people's masks with yours.
- Put your mask on before you leave your house and wear it while you are out, keep in mind every surface you touch outside could be contaminated.
I also put a bottle of hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and a can of Lysol spray at my listings. Be safe out there!!!
