Beer steins collection VanHook estate sale searcy ar

A Stein Collection

A very important estate sale is going to be conducted in Searcy AR in a few days.  V Smith Estate Sales is going to be conducting it and the selections are wonderfully varied.  I get a preview because V Smith Estate Sales is owned by my daughter, Valerie Canepa.

The way these steins were displayed as a group caught my eye.  Steins, used a lot for beer but mostly just collectible, are not things that I have collected but they are always so attractive and complex in their construction.....or so it seems.  The VanHook family, who owned and operated Van-Atkins in Searcy, has an amazing amount of things to sell.

I hope to see you there.  Go here to see other items being offered.   https://www.estatesales.net/AR/Searcy/72143/2549679

That looks like a fascinating collection. How fun to be able to get "first peek" at collectibles. My weakness is dishes and glassware. :)

Those look like some very nice beer steins.  I am sure they would have some FUN stories to tell if only they could.  I hope the sell goes well!

Mimi, there are lots and lots of dishes and glassware.  Go to that site and see.  You may drive to AR for the sale!!

Joan, that is what I thought.  But they are too nice to drink beer out of!

Realtyna, I thought they look great but I have never studied beer steins.

I don't have a fancy stein but I do have one that I have drunk from in Germany during Oktoberfest. It holds 1 liter. That's 33.814 fluid ounces.

Don, that does look drinkable-from.  Those fancy ones with lids just seem too fancy to drink from.  Bet you can't put them in a dishwasher!
